Description
The 2022 Pinot Noir hails from Hogan’s Run Vineyard in the iconic Russian River Valley. During the growing season the Russian River acts as a fog funnel, carrying cooling Pacific breezes to temper the inland warmth of Sonoma County. The resulting microclimate balances warmth with overnight fog and is a dream for Pinot Noir. On the nose the wine is extroverted with expressive aromas of rose petal, orange peel, and strawberries. The wine’s weighty mouth weaves silky tannins together with buoyant flavors of toffee, strawberries, and lingering vanilla and cinnamon throughout the finish.
