OUR STORY
We founded our first wine company, an import company back in 2008. Given our proximity to Napa and Sonoma and a burgeoning reputation for finding and developing ultra-premium fine wines for our clients, we were urged by friends and colleagues to start making wines of our own.
Having established close friendships with several farmers throughout the state (and eventually beyond!), it was simple enough to head into our "backyard" so to speak, and work with some of the best growers from some of the finest vineyards in California.
Today, Nine North Wine Company represents a varied portfolio of limited production, handcrafted wines from California, Washington, and New Zealand. The portfolio expresses exceptional quality and value across several different brands, at price points that won't dent your pocketbook.

Partnering with 1% for the Planet is a natural extension of our dedication to making a positive impact. As winemakers, our work is rooted in nature, and we believe it’s our responsibility to give back—to help protect and preserve the land we rely on for future generations. That’s why we pledge 1% of our revenue—not just profit—to environmental causes in our community every year.
DIRECTOR OF WINEMAKNG MOLLY LIPPITT
Before striking out on her own, Molly spent fifteen years working alongside many of California's most renowned and celebrated winemakers (Heidi Barrett, Philippe Melka, Julien Fayard, Mike Hirby, and Scott Rich). She credits this tutelage for honing her detail-focused, site-honoring winemaking style. Molly has been working with Nine North Wine Company since 2012.
