OUR STORY
New to the wine industry, but full of hope and excitement about what the future holds, we founded our first wine venture — an import company in 2008, the same year we started our family, just steps from Napa and Sonoma.
As our reputation grew for sourcing and developing ultra-premium wines from around the world, friends and colleagues urged us to craft our own from locally sourced fruit here in California. In 2012 we became the proud owners of Nine North Wine Company — established in 2000 — and set out to build something lasting. Over the years, and through long-standing relationships with top growers and producers across California and beyond (thank you!), we've assembled a portfolio of wines from some of the most esteemed vineyards in California, Washington, and overseas.
Today, Nine North Wine Company is proud to showcase a portfolio of limited production, artisanal wines from various regions in the U.S. and abroad that offer exceptional craftsmanship, site expression, and value across every label. Please enjoy responsibly!

Partnering with 1% for the Planet is a natural extension of our dedication to making a positive impact. As winemakers, our work is rooted in nature, and we believe it’s our responsibility to give back—to help protect and preserve the land we rely on for future generations. That’s why we pledge 1% of our revenue—not just profit—to environmental causes in our community every year.
DIRECTOR OF WINEMAKNG MOLLY LIPPITT
Before striking out on her own, Molly spent fifteen years working alongside many of California's most renowned and celebrated winemakers (Heidi Barrett, Philippe Melka, Julien Fayard, Mike Hirby, and Scott Rich). She credits this tutelage for honing her detail-focused, site-honoring winemaking style. Molly has been working with Nine North Wine Company since 2012.
