We founded our first wine venture—an import company—in 2008, just steps from Napa and Sonoma. As our reputation grew for sourcing and developing ultra-premium wines, friends and colleagues urged us to craft our own.
Through long-standing relationships with top growers across California and beyond, we began producing wines from some of the most esteemed vineyards in the state.
Today, Nine North Wine Company curates a portfolio of limited-production, artisanal wines from California, Washington, and New Zealand—offering exceptional craftsmanship, site expression, and value across every label.

Partnering with 1% for the Planet is a natural extension of our dedication to making a positive impact. As winemakers, our work is rooted in nature, and we believe it’s our responsibility to give back—to help protect and preserve the land we rely on for future generations. That’s why we pledge 1% of our revenue—not just profit—to environmental causes in our community every year.

Before striking out on her own, Molly spent fifteen years working alongside many of California's most renowned and celebrated winemakers (Heidi Barrett, Philippe Melka, Julien Fayard, Mike Hirby, and Scott Rich). She credits this tutelage for honing her detail-focused, site-honoring winemaking style. Molly has been working with Nine North Wine Company since 2012.
