Our inspiration for this wine was based upon the classic field blends of California from the late 1800's. Sourced from several dry farmed, old vine vineyards, "The Broken Road" is a blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Barbera, and Carignane. This expressive red shows alluring white pepper, black fruits and cedar notes on the noise, while plenty of black cherry and blackberry fruit dominate the creamy palate, with fine balance and soft gentle tannins that integrate well on the finish.
