Jim Gill, James Harder and Jim Regusci founded the Seven Sinners Wine Company in the spring of 2002.  The trio who have achieved tremendous success with their Twenty Bench Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, decided to explore the various expressions of Syrah from California's diverse wine growing appellations.

The name Seven Sinners (an old John Wayne classic from 1940) was a tongue and cheek reference to our wild bunch winemaking team.  The three partners along with consulting winemaker, Charles Hendricks and his cellar team comprise the seven individuals who are bent on bottling small lots Syrah and offering them at affordable prices.
